WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item level upgrade used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.
