Cheap Single Pushchair Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and do not need a stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it is solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is thanks to its super nimble maneuverability and fold that fits into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels, made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top single strollers, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopies.

It took us less than three minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. None of the parts required tools. It's missing certain features we consider essential for double strollers. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and slid through doors without a hitch.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position and can also pivot. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate during our walk on a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to move even with two children and a shopping bag.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

This budget single stroller cheap pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and comes with excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a huge gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automated frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

It's easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
