Izziwotnot’s Bailey Sleigh cot-bed isn't cheap but it's elegant and well-constructed. It's simple to put together, even though it requires two people. It looks great in any nursery. The panel we tested loved the dark wood and the dowel sides, and is sturdy enough to be used until your baby becomes a toddler. It also complies with British safety standards - the depth isn't that deep that your baby can get out, and the distance between the slats is no greater than 65mm, which should prevent their head from being trapped. You'll also have to buy a mattress that costs an additional PS88.

The cot stands out because of its shape-shifting sleigh design. It's also easy to put your baby inside and out of it, which is an enormous plus. It's a bit more expensive than other cot-beds however, our panel of experts thought it was worth it due to the design and durability.
